Lighting: A Closer Look

In case you haven't heard of this, Gardening Gone Wild is having a photo contest.
The topic is ‘Lighting: A Closer Look’

These are wild berries found in a forest.
This time around, I remember to spray myself with mosquito repellent before going into the forest.
Previously, my berry photos became just a smear of red as I could not keep my hands still with the mosquitoes buzzing all over me.

These tiny False Heather flowers are from my garden.
I captured the same flowers but in a Mason Jar for a previous Gardening Gone Wild Photo Contest.
The photo failed to get me into the finals.
Is this any good now?

This spider is building a web on my lotus leaf.
It's shadow seems to tell me not to choose this photo; "X"

Skipper Butterfly

Citrus Butterfly
I have yet to decide which photo would be my entry.

How about leaf beetles?
Would this one be disqualified?
I would welcome some feedback as to which photo I should select for the photo contest.

By the way, my good friend, Rosie, gave me a mission to capture the 'strangest thing you ever saw'.
Rosie, would the photo of the beetles qualify?

I believe my last caption post with the 'upside down house' would be strange enough but I didn't want to link up with an old post because you might miss this interesting meme.
Join Rosie in her quest for strange photos.

While you are here, I would appreciate if you could vote for Onenezz with the voting buttons below.

A big thank you to everyone whom have voted daily or occasionally to move the rankings to :
Malaysian Top LOL : 6
Malaysian Blogger of the Year : 15

Thank you for your support.

Thank you for all your precious comments.
I have made the decision based on your feedback.
The butterfly would be the entry.
The beetles are just for laughs.

Caption - I Will Follow You

Let's start the week with a few doses of humourous captions.

Julia : When will she realize we are not plants?!

Donna of GEV : Hey guys, who is this dude trying to get into our family photo?

B-a-g : I thought blondes are supposed to have more fun.

Nancy : Don't you dare try get ahead of me!

Victoria : Where you lead, I will follow.

Janis : Love your outfit!

Today, I am posting 3 additional photos.
Selected captions will be posted next Monday with a link to your blog/website.
Come on, let's create more laughter!
The world need it.
Hoping to hear from you soon.

Irresistible Flowers

Flowers can be irresistible to many of us.

Some may be attracted to the fragrance.

Blogging from Bolivia
Some may just love the texture and taste.

Some develop a symbiotic relationship with the flower.
One offers food source, the other offers protection.

Some derive their energy from nectar and bring home pollen for the little ones.

Some play 'hide and eat' but obligingly smile and wave to the photographer.

Others know that flowers are to be admired from a distance...hopefully.

I have borrowed some stunning images for these collages from a flower delivery
website.
Wouldn't you agree that flowers can be irresistible?

I especially love these gorgeous bouquets of orchids.
Why?
 Because they come with roots!

Hmmm....Why not get a bouquet on Fathers Day?

Father gets his gift while Mother enjoys the gift.
The puppies can of course appreciate the fragrance and admire from a distance.
