Lighting: A Closer Look

In case you haven't heard of this, Gardening Gone Wild is having a photo contest.
The topic is ‘Lighting: A Closer Look’

These are wild berries found in a forest.
This time around, I remember to spray myself with mosquito repellent before going into the forest.
Previously, my berry photos became just a smear of red as I could not keep my hands still with the mosquitoes buzzing all over me.

These tiny False Heather flowers are from my garden.
I captured the same flowers but in a Mason Jar for a previous Gardening Gone Wild Photo Contest.
The photo failed to get me into the finals.
Is this any good now?

This spider is building a web on my lotus leaf.
It's shadow seems to tell me not to choose this photo; "X"

Skipper Butterfly

Citrus Butterfly
I have yet to decide which photo would be my entry.

How about leaf beetles?
Would this one be disqualified?
I would welcome some feedback as to which photo I should select for the photo contest.

By the way, my good friend, Rosie, gave me a mission to capture the 'strangest thing you ever saw'.
Rosie, would the photo of the beetles qualify?

I believe my last caption post with the 'upside down house' would be strange enough but I didn't want to link up with an old post because you might miss this interesting meme.
Join Rosie in her quest for strange photos.

While you are here, I would appreciate if you could vote for Onenezz with the voting buttons below.

A big thank you to everyone whom have voted daily or occasionally to move the rankings to :
Malaysian Top LOL : 6
Malaysian Blogger of the Year : 15

Thank you for your support.

Thank you for all your precious comments.
I have made the decision based on your feedback.
The butterfly would be the entry.
The beetles are just for laughs.

Leaf Beetles

Oh dear, oh dear!
The leaf beetles are here.
Didn't they leave after my pumpkin harvest last year?
Why is this one resting on my Zinnia?

They have a special knack,
To track down their favourite snack.
Now they are all back,
For the watermelon attack.

Titty fruit leaves, soft and furry,
Also tasty, crunchy and yummy.
When it has filled up its tummy,
I hope it doesn't start a family.
