Ephemeral is the chosen word for Word for Wednesday at Garden Walk Garden Talk.
It means lasting for a short time.

When the cosmos plants have finally hit the compost pile, I shall come to this blog to see the buds and blooms and the many variety of critters that have been brought about.
I accidentally bumped into a chameleon above the cosmos plants and screamed.
Obviously, I frightened the poor creature away.
The encounter was really ephemeral since I only had a glimpse of the chameleon.
I must have sounded quite terrifying.
I hope the terror was ephemeral for the chameleon.
See the twinkle?
What are ephemeral are made less ephemeral now since I have recorded them here.
Thanks to Donna.
