Caption - Mothballing

Welcome to Monday Photo Captions!

Enjoy the captions contributed by fellow bloggers and leave yours for the last two photos.
Selected ones will be posted next Monday with links to your blogs.

For those who are keen to know, the bigger insect below is a hornet while the smaller one is a moth.
They were both drinking nectar from the longan flowers harmoniously.
No bloodshed was found at the scene.

Stewart M : My biology teacher told that me a wasp mimic would keep me safe - I have a feeling he got it wrong!

Bananaz : What else can you do beside mothballing?

Bom : Oof! I need to lose weight. So much easier to get to the top when you are small and light.

One : Strangely, the pairing of orange and black dominates the runway these days.

Thank you to all who contributed to the captions.

Caption - Bride and Groom

Welcome to Monday Photo Captions!
It is still 4 hours away from Monday but I am posting early as I would be away the next few days.

Enjoy the captions contributed by fellow bloggers and leave your captions for the last two photos.
Selected ones will be posted next Monday with links to your blogs or websites.

One : Outstanding choreography!

Christine : On your mark, get set, go!

Andrea : Let's go to the shore now, we've got too much sun already! Look at the whites, they are always in the shade!

Stewart M : While the groom arrives with his friends, the bridal party waits in the background.

Liz : The hunt begins; you take the land, we'll take the water.

Cosmos as in the Universe

The space surrounding the cosmos flowers in this post represents the cosmos as in the universe.
See the beauty in space...

Selected captions will be posted next Monday with a link to your website.

Bom : I want to be Mr Magical Mistoffelees.

Bananaz : What?! No way I'm gonna do the triple backward somersault on this unbalanced beam.

One : Copycats

Lui : Synchronized Hunting

GardenWalkGardenTalk : You jump. No you. Are you a scaredy-cat? No, are you?

(note their extremely worried expression as they look down)

Bananaz : Pheeeeeeeeeee............thud! (sound effect)

"Humpty Dumpty!!! Are you ok?!!!" shouted the kittens together.
Silence
... and all the One's dogs and all the One's cats couldn't put Humpty together again...

Butterflies in Love

As part of the 'kiasu game, I went in search of more butterflies in the garden and the hard disk.

Plain Tiger Butterflies dated on plain compost.

Common Grass Yellow Butterflies tied the knot beneath common Costus leaves.

Another pair of lovely Common Grass Yellow Butterflies preferred the mulberry leaves.

A pair of unidentified maroon moths at the lemon tree.

2 beautiful White Antennae Wasp Moth surround themselves with wild flowers during their first date.

As this couple became tattered, they hung around tattered leaves.

Since I cannot beat Andrea in the quantity of butterflies she captured in a single photo, I resorted to posting of butterflies in love.

Do you find bugs in love in your garden?

Kanak of Nature Rambles did.

1 hour later...

Joyce of My Little Potted Garden is showing off GOLDEN pupae!
You got to check them out.
She even has the pupae in 4 different colours, all produced by Butterflies in Love.

Faces in the Garden

There are some strange looking faces in the garden.

They are a little creepy, aren't they?
Comparatively, the faces below seem quite charming.

There are more but I think you have enough of creepy looking flowers and creepy looking bugs.

Since there will be no signs of Spring for me to look forward to, I looked for some unusual faces instead.
I shall let you leave this post with a more pleasant looking face.
Pichu thinks he has the best looking face.
