The still unopened cosmos! The open ones are the most common but when you shot it the way they are now, they're not common anymore. The sayings made them even more special. And maybe naught made it synonymous with the real 'cosmos', lovely. Let's go beyond the other side or the 'cosmos'! During our last trip to Mindanao (Tinuy-an Waterfalls), both sides of the long roads are lined with profusely flowering orange and yellow cosmos. It would have been nice to take some shots, but we are on the public transport bus. Do you also have other colored cosmos there?
Congrats on the GGW silver medal win! No cosmos for me this year so I'm enjoying them vicariously on other blogs. I've never had the yellow ones. Very pretty.
beautiful photos - those cosmos are great for attracting butterflies.
wonderful pictures and i love how you process them.here's my entry
I'm really taken by your first shot and quote - really REALLY lovely.
These images are just beautiful and your writing on them looks like a greeting card. In fact, I bet people would purchase them as a greeting card.
Lovely photos. I like the first one best and agree that could be a greeting card.Cher Sunray Gardens
I love the cosmos flower and the critter. They are beautifully taken. Congratulations on your Silver Medal win. Well done!
A wonderful play on words.Excellent.
Like GWGT, I thought "Oh, what a beautiful greeting card!". Stunning photography.
Very well framed pictures and well chosen words. There's a poet hiding inside ONE.
Another bug to love. I can love him because he is not here in all his bugdom. Great shots!
You can't go wrong with Cosmos! Beautiful shots with exquisite words!
It is quite amazing to see your skill at photography grow. These are lovely pictures. They would make beautiful greeting cards. Have you thought about making your own cards using your own photos?
I love the middle shot - great DoF, details, and composition.
Just love your creativity! So beautifully depicted. I love the words you've put in too.
So good to live in the cosmos.
Great stuff!Everything is so beautiful. Congrats.
You're right.... sometimes space is what makes the image beautiful. And that bug! Don't know what it is but it's a stunner!

Wow - such beauty! It's not empty space - but open space.
less is more.
Gorgeous! I love all of these!
Lovely photos! I like how the position of the words balances out and emphasizes the empty space.
Well said! If the photo included a bunch of other flowers as well as the cosmos, it wouldn't have stood out as much. Beautiful!!
So lovely, especially ~ "It's the emptiness ..."
