Katarina of Roses and Stuff is hosting Blooming Friday with the theme, "Feeling Blue".
There are no blue flowers, Nor blue berries to be found. Not even little blue critters,Appear above the ground.
In the mission of "Feeling Blue",I went around with a frown.
When someone said sunflowers are always cheerful,
I had thought the comment was profound.
A bee came buzzing though,Sweeping away my frown. He knows just what do,Where he should hang around.
In my mission of "Feeling Blue",I have lost my precious frown. In my mission of "Feeling Blue",I must lead you to "Feeling Down".
Since I've failed miserably in this mission, kindly visit Roses and Stuff for other "Feeling Blue" articles.
This was not a blue post, I smiled all the way through. It worked with the Feeling Down post too. The poem was cute sneaking in Feeling Down. Your bee photo was one on the best I have seen, one worth making into a greeting card for sale.

Great post, great poem and great shots! The photo of the bee is just terrific ... there's no way anyone could be feeling blue after visiting your post.
ReplyDeleteHey, the sky is blue! The sunflowers against the sunny skies and the busy bee is buzzing by.
ReplyDeleteDear One, I do not think you failed at all . . . you show so perfectly I think . . . how we can be lifted up from being blue by experiencing natures wonders. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteNo one could be feeling blue after reading your delightful post! Chris
ReplyDeleteYour sunflowers have done quite well haven't they. What makes me blue is when my pretty smiling flowers begin to droop and then fade. I love the verse, too.
ReplyDeleteOne, start doing some research. Check out the web site where you find all kinds of ideas of how people keep chickens in their backyards. Keeping hens here in the states is quite popular, even in cities. You will have to check to see if your town allows for keeping chickens, but other than that they are very easy to keep. If you cannot buy them at local supplies, you can order them through the mail or on the internet. You will find that they are very easy to keep--and fresh eggs.
Very clever and great bee photo.
ReplyDeleteI love your words and pictures anyway!! Have a nice weekend/Gela

I don't think you've failed. The matter is that creativity can't be imprisoned in a theme.

My favourite photo is the first one. I have only ever seen photos of happy sunflowers, it's unusual to see them looking so said. It reminded me of Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers painting.
ReplyDeleteYou poem drives the blues away.
ReplyDeleteFailed! not at all, that was a wonderfully written post. how clever of you!
ReplyDeleteYour post wiped away any hint of a frown and replaced it with a big smile on my face!

This is great! Since you started on this style of having a little poem with your nice photos, a lot has been commenting and i congratulate you! The blue is not contagious enough, instead it is the smile which you elicited in us all. Haha! Keep up the good work.
