  5. One, you are torturing me with this devine beauty! I can't take it anymore. What do I see? I see heaven reflected on the clear water and I can also see the lotus 'bottom' (roots).

  7. One, I see something I would love to have in my garden. Is it easy or difficult to grow them from seed? Always like your lotus pic and post:)

  22. Dear friends, I hope you enjoy this short post as much as I enjoy reading your comments.

It's a post about reflection. We usually see what we expect to see.

The second photo is the reflection of a lotus flower, a seed pod and a leaf. You could also see the roots of the floaters. The lotus roots are not visible as they are confined in a separate pot. Lotus roots are round and fat, not hairy. But we tend to see what we expect to see, don't we?

Thank you very much for all your wonderful comments. Btw, there is still no frost here. :)

  23. When I see a lotus flower, I always see beauty and tranquility. Now whenever I see one, I also see a flower that I wish to have in my garden, but I won't, not at the moment, because there is not enough of space! Your lotus is a real beauty!

  24. I thought the second photo was a double exposure and had to take a second look. That was a good twist sending us over to Ann.
