One, you are torturing me with this devine beauty! I can't take it anymore. What do I see? I see heaven reflected on the clear water and I can also see the lotus 'bottom' (roots).
Oh One. You are so funny. We have snow. About 2 inches. It will freeze tonight for sure. Your lotus is so beautiful. Your beautiful tropics will keep me going through the winter.
hahaha, One you made my day. I want to see you, thought of seeing you, and found you! Does that make sense! well, your photos are beautiful, keep them coming.
Lotus have been a Queen of all sacred flowers. If you have one, you might find a goddess sitting on it. Its a blessing to find a glorious flower grace your garden. Truly lovely. What do you see Onenezz?
Dear friends, I hope you enjoy this short post as much as I enjoy reading your comments.
It's a post about reflection. We usually see what we expect to see.
The second photo is the reflection of a lotus flower, a seed pod and a leaf. You could also see the roots of the floaters. The lotus roots are not visible as they are confined in a separate pot. Lotus roots are round and fat, not hairy. But we tend to see what we expect to see, don't we?
Thank you very much for all your wonderful comments. Btw, there is still no frost here. :)
When I see a lotus flower, I always see beauty and tranquility. Now whenever I see one, I also see a flower that I wish to have in my garden, but I won't, not at the moment, because there is not enough of space! Your lotus is a real beauty!
One..
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for this sacred lotus so much so that I almost have one tattooed on my arm.

ReplyDeleteI see the similar flowers which were spoiled by grasshoppers in the middle of a pond in Kangar.
ReplyDeleteOne, I see something I would love to have in my garden. Is it easy or difficult to grow them from seed? Always like your lotus pic and post:)

ReplyDeleteI thought the second photo was a double exposure and had to take a second look. That was a good twist sending us over to Ann.
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty! Someday I should have a pond. :)
