What Brings You Joy?

What would brighten up your day?

Would a bright coloured canna bring you joy?

How about red cockscomb, red periwinkle or red frangipani?

Surely, the sunflowers would bring some warmth despite being partially chewed up by insects.

For me, I find joy in small surprises like accidentally discovering a bug in the fungi photo below.

I enjoy seeing kids playing and laughing amongst the plants I care for.
Below are kids from 3 different families in the neighbourhood.

Joy is having my 3 dogs posing in the same direction at the same time.

What joy it is to see them posing and smiling!
They are sending love your way.

What brings you joy?

  2. Now we are talking COLOR. What a day brightener, especially those happy sunflowers. You posted my two favorite things, a beautiful bright day with loads of flowers and your adorable trio of pooches. I really need a new dog. I keep living through others pups!

The insect on the fungi is a really good shot and find.

  9. Watering the herbs on the hottest day in summer, and filling up the air with the most delicious aromatic oils. That's mine. Also, seeing my daughter gobble up cherry tomatoes like they're candy. My joy is often found in the garden. Nice post.

  12. Reading some happy posts always bring me joy, especially when I see 3 dogs lying in a line posing for you.

By the way, the spider never made a splash, instead it trapped rain water in its web.
